We stayed here for one night as part of a 2 night, 3 day tour of the Golden Triangle organised through the Doi Tung Development Project. Located just outside Chiang Saen and part of a complex that contains the excellent Hall of Opium museum, we arrived from Chiang Rai in the afternoon after visiting a few attractions on the way. The staff were nice and helpful and the grounds are very well looked after. We were in one of the bungalow rooms that are set on stilts and have a nice view from the balcony. The room was big enough but a little basic, the bathroom was quite small though and we couldn't get the water hot enough for a comfortable shower. I'm not sure if you can even book this place as a hotel, I think it's more for family tour groups or school/college children in tour groups. The facilities are limited and there is nothing to do in the evening although the set meal they provided wasn't bad.
