My favorite hotel until now has been Kona Viollage Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii, but I think I could stau here forever. Only "about 10" unites, each an individual hut with its own lanai, but there must be a couple of rooms out of commission because I'm in #11. Each of the staff have been outstanding and cheefrul... more

We stayed here for 3 nights in November with our son and my husband's parents. We had 2 deluxe bungalows and 1 medium. The bungalows: rustic but comfortable. We found the bed extremely hard. The deluxe bungalows have a nice sitting area and were a decent size. The medium one didn't have a lot of room, as the bed was... more

I think this is my favourite place ever (perhaps equal favourite with the Riverside in Hoi An). It is a little out of town which wasn’t a problem as we mainly came to do a trip with Jermsak and it was an easy tuk tuk ride to town. The tuk tuk ride to town takes about 15-20 minutes. It costs 200baht... more

Naga Hill Resort is a really perfect place to relax and let your mind calm down. On the estate there are ten bungalows, divided in small bungalows, which are good for lovers, medium bungalows which are more roomy and feature a king size bed and deluxe bungalows which have a bedroom and a living room space. All bungalows have fans... more

My husband and I first stayed at Naga Hill before it was officially open to the public. We have a deep love of Thailand and its people and return to Thailand often. We always make time for a stay a Naga Hill and most recently stayed there in December 2008 where we held a special event for many friends and... more

We were a group of 8 and stayed here for 4 nights. The accomodation and setting is very nice. Food in the resturant was first class and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It has a nice pool with great views. I would highly recommend Naga Hills for any length of stay. more

We had extensive plans for things to do around Chiang Rai the afternoon and evening we stayed at Naga Hill. But we immediately fell in love with this bargain gem of a hotel and instead spent the rest of the afternoon lounging in hammocks at our (very private) bungalow, and the evening at the superb restaurant (try the massaman curry)... more

Indeed this is a place of exception & today very few of that kind exist anymore. Unique location, nice staff, cosy & delicately decorated bungalows, internet, lovely food & above all, a splendid 25 meters swimming pool of clearwater! For such moderate prices what can you expect more? more

I'm surprised to see not-so-happy reviews here, so I'm writing one to give another picture of my favorite place, Naga Hill. Chiang Rai has some funky guesthouses, and some uber-expensive resorts, but Naga Hill is in a category of its own. Located about 20 minutes from the center of CR, and only about 10 minutes from the airport, you turn... more
