We travelled to Hua Hin on 23-05-2009 with Emirates via Dubai. This was our first experience of Emirates as we have previously flown with Qatar Airways. Qatar have been outstanding on every occasion we have flown with them, but we were very disappointed with the level of service afforded by Emirates and will not choose them again. I do not... more

We stayed at the Anantara for a week and it was such a peaceful place and was just like paradise. We stayed in a Lagoon Room which was lovely and big and had a balcony over the lagoon. You also have your own pool which is much more relaxed than the main pool. The food was was lovely and the... more

We have stayed in many of the best resorts in Hua Hin, but have returned a number of times to the Anantara. It is really quite unique - not nearly as large as some of the other names - Sheraton, Hyatt, Dusit, but with as high a service quality. The grounds are by far the most lovely - rooms are... more

Although I did not stay at this hotel (stayed at Hilton Hua Hin which was fab) I wanted to write a quick review of the dining by design which the hotel offers as we were SO impressed with it. Before we went to Hua Hin we looked online for something romantic to do and found the Anantara's offer of private... more

The hotel is set in beautiful gardens containing many varied and exotic plants. The gardens were well kept, the areas surrounding the lagoon pool particualrly nice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the "Italian " style restaurant was excellent. There was a management reception on Friday eve with drinks and snacks provided. We really enjoyed... more

We stayed only a couple of days at this charming resort and it could have been longer! The resort was spacious and was beautifully appointed with lots of details, thoroughly designed with influences of Thai culture and its hospitality. The staff spoke very good English at the restaurants and in the lobby. The pool villa we stayed was very clean... more

Stayed 29 December-6 January in superior lagoon room #851 and deluxe lagoon room #821. All in all this resort is perfect. It’s not “hot” design place, no extravagant “luxury” with gold and crystal chandeliers, but a wonderful well appointed hotel in a more traditional exclusive Thai design. It has a cool and gentle atmosphere. Very soothing. The lagoons, tropical gardens,... more

My husband and I stayed at this resort for a week in Jan 09. We we were later joined by our 18 year old daughter who got sick in India on a trek and then joined us at the resort for 4 days. We had stayed at the Anantara in the Golden Triangle a few years ago and really enjoyed... more

After spending 14 nights in I was ready to go home. The hotel is situated between garages and other buildings. Entrance is from a busy highway. You can see high raised buildings from the gardens. Beach was very poor. I felt like I was living in a paradise in the middle of a busy town, not what I expected. The... more

We stayed at Anantara Hua Hin for 12 nights after spending 4 fabulous days in Bangkok at the Millennium Hilton. We were worried that Anantara wouldn't amaze us as much as our hotel in Bangkok, but it did! So beautiful, the lobby is typically Thai - al fresco - so no air conditioning but the ambiance is great! We were... more
