I would heartily agree with the previous comments on the Subhamitra hotel- just stayed there for the unth time over the weekend (am based in Bkk) and would add bring your laptop next time! I have stayed at the Subhamitra Hotel on about ten occasions and have always found the staff pleasant and co-operative and the rooms well serviced and clean.
