Not long back from the AKA. It is such a "chill out" relaxing resort. The staff are always very attentive and friendly, day & night. Food in the restaurant is a little pricey but is excellent. After a nine hour flight we had a private chaffeur from Bangkok airport to resort. Driving time from Bangkok was 2 hours 40 minutes. We stayed in a one bedroom villa with pool in early January. If you want to chill out and relax in a private setting this is the place to be. You have your own garden patio area with pool, sun loungers and table and chairs. I had a traditional thai massage in the treatment rooms beside the lake....it was fabulous.... more
