Fantastic! Should be the everyone's number one pick. Basic but adequate rooms to meet needs. Cheapest rate in town. Relaxing garden area complete with hammocks over looking river kwai and rainforest. Fantastic food in restaurant; so good the locals recommend it and eat there. more

stayed here for 5 days this month, was only going to stay for two but found the place a great place to relax. It was extremely cheap, around 250 baht per night, so at the time this was less than £3! the rooms were basic-bed, cold shower. But clean, and secure, what else do you need. Very popular with backpackers so loads of people. Good open garden area with hammocks. Food at restaurant pretty good-eat fish dish! Do really good trips, good value.... more

Jolly Frog is a nice backpakcers place. It`s very friendly and really cheap - we paid 200 Baht/ night. Rooms are simple and clean - but for 200 Bahts you can`t expect 5star. We arrived in Kanchanaburi and were dropped off at this popular guesthouse. The rooms are basic, but the dining area is big and sociable, with movies shown each night. The guesthouse has a nice lounging area with hammocks and deckchairs. I recommend the cooking course at nearby Apple's guesthouse. more
