We stayed here 2 nights . Location is excellent, within walking distance of the bridge and set in peacefull surroundings alongside the river. The rooms are spacious with large balconies overlooking the river. Bathrooms are a little dated but still up to 4 star quality. Nice swimming pools with poolside bar. Breakfast OK, nothing special. Our only negative was an... more

This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely riverside location. I found the room to be very clean and comfortable. The pools were great. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. As the crow flies you are very near the tourist area around the bridge but as it is on the other side of the... more

I booked three river review rooms for two nights and was given rooms on the second floor of bldg “G”. You get a great view of the river from your room but you can’t actually see the bridge. You need to walk almost to the property line and then you get a reasonably good view. The rooms were typical “rustic”... more

We stayed for 3 nights in April 2009 and loved the Felix River Kwai. The rooms were a bit dated, but clean and spacious and the hotel as a whole had a lovely feel about it. There was a large lagoon type pool that our son loved and the gardens were immaculately kept. The hotel backs onto the river kwai... more

If ever a hotel depended on it's location, this would be it. Once, it may have been worthwhile staying here but a total lack of maintenance gives it a tired feel. Our bedroom was falling apart, with the local mosquitos having moved in en masse. The truly remarkable thing about this hotel was that the restaurant food had me reminiscing... more

We spent 2 nights in two interconnecting rooms that went straight out to pool one side- or we could sit overlooking gardens/pond out the other side. This place has such beautiful grounds that are beautifully maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful, Meals were fantastic. Rooms were fine although I guess bathrooms could do with a refit soon but perfectly ok.... more

We stayed here for one night. Like most of the reviewers, we too stayed here to see the Bridge on the River Kwai and the JEATH museum. The hotel’s reception area looks very impressive, but the hotel room we had looked pretty old and tired. Everything worked (i.e. shower, television etc) though and the staff were very helpful and friendly,... more

Old hotel with huge rooms at low prices. The Felix is a good hotel, if a bit dated and in need of updating. We booked for only 1 night as we only wanted to see the Bridge over the River Kwai. The suite could easily be termed as a mini apartment. A very big living room / dining area, with... more

This hotel has beautiful architecture, friendly and service minded staff, great outdoor areas, spacious rooms and good food. The only "complaint" must be that our room had shower in the bath tube, and that internet is not available in the rooms, but wi-fi is free of charge in the lobby area. The hotel is located 500 m from the famous... more
