The Golden Beach Resort is a nice mid range hotel perfect for those who want to be near bars and restaurants and those who want to explore nearby islands. Stayed in a bungalow & liked it. Seems to be one of the best hotels in Ao Nang. Basically on the beach (no traffic on the road). Slight mosquito issue, but repellant helps. Recently stayed at this hotel. Location: steps from beach- we loved that. I loved this beach and I have been to many other vacation destinations. Check in was good.
