This hotel is 5-10 miles outside of town so if you want to walk to Pai this is not the hotel for you. However, the place is incredible - each room is it's own villa with a patio facing the river (we paid for one their most expensive rooms - about $75 USD a night). They have several pool sized hot tubs and a large pool with a bar and great view. They have their own restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that has good food for reasonable prices ($5-10 USD if I remember correctly). The staff was very courteous. They have a small internet room for about $10 an hour and they have shuttle service to and from Pai for about $10-15 USD. I think they charged us about 600 baht to take the two of us on a short sight-seeing tour - Pai, a Chinese Village, and Coffee Love (a famous Coffee house that is featured in Thai movies and TV and has the most incredible view of the mountains).
