This is a great hotel and it really is bang for your buck! We booked this on Accor's official website so it came up to US$35 a night!! Hotel's really clean and service is good. I pre booked the hotel on the internet and the price they quoted was the final price charged. I can imagine how things could go wrong because some of the front counter staff are totally incompetent. The hotel is new, the rooms are small but very clean. The wall is thin where you can hear people talking when they walk pass but it doesn't worry us. In simple words, i would never recommend this hotel (and maybe the entire IBIS chain) to anyone. I had a 3 day stay at this hotel, and i tried to stay as much outside the hotel as possible. IBIS Patong is like any other IBIS - clean and tidy with proffesional and attentive staff. More of a business hotel then a holiday resort but that is to be expected. Room on a small side but very functional and bright. Location could be better. Placed towards the end of Patong - quite a walk to the main beach area.... more
