This Place was great! Located a block from the beach towards the end of the strip in Patong, we enjoyed staying at the Aspery. Sad to see this stylish hotel deteriorate so quickly... dirty, scuffed surfaces. A pity the management can't maintain standards on the architects/builders. A lot of construction:- in the hotel, at the roof pool, next door... definately diminishes the quality of this hotel. convenient for the beach and other restaurants/bars...but honestly patong is quite seedy and full of drunk westerners (and that's coming from a Brit!!!) so i would stay in another part of the island next time. more

Big, clean room. Close to beach. Nice style. Good breakfast. TV, dvdplayer, fridge, AC, free WiFi. However: There is a building site next door. Big beds, but the mattress is much too hard. more
