We stayed for ten days and had a very relaxing holiday. This resort is great if you are not expecting full on entertainment but just need a quiet time. The beach is lovely and the snorkeling was stunning. The rooms were clean and changed daily. The service was very friendly and we were very welcomed. Some of the promised facilities... More

Resort is unfortunately not entirely as portrayed, small littered beach besieged by tourists (usually Japanese and were so obnoxious they kept them at a separate bar in the evenings), no electric for 5-6 hours a day, cold salty showers, damp musty smelling rooms and very rude young male receptionist. The deck chairs on the beach were small and half didn't... More

If you have time to get farther away from Phuket on your holiday, DO! The Coral Island "Resort" charges quite a healthy premium (we paid BHT4500) but doesn't remove you from the madding crowds. In fact, it delivers them to you every morning. The huge cruise boats arrive packed with tour groups by the hundreds. The best thing about these... More

Coral island is paradise! To us, it was the beach itself, just the sheer natural beauty, that made the location so special. - The sand was white powder. - The shoreline had a great variety of ever changing coral/shells for some great coral/shell scavenging. - There was a constant breeze that kept things cool and plenty of trees for shade.... We chose this resort as it was a little away from the mainland. A good choice. The speed boat ride was fun as the waters were a little choppy. We spend 3 days on the island and didnt want to leave. The service was very good, they even went out of their way to make for us something that was... More

A beautiful experience, right from the location to food, activities, etc. The rooms are basic but clean & the service was satisfactory. The room rates too were affordable. However, watch out for the waiters who always seem to be in a hurry to clear your plate. Also, watch out for the speedboat transfers, which costs a whooping THB500 per head... More

We stayed in the beachfront cottages and it was great to step out of our rooms straight onto the beach. The coral near the shore has been badly affected by the scores of daily trippers from the mainland. The food can be repetitive after a few meals. We did a try-dive and it was awesome. It is not a luxury... More

My husband and I spent a month travelling around Thailand, we decided that we would like to spend a night on a quiet Island to relax before our journey home, after visiting Koh Phi Phi we wanted an Island that wouldn`t take as long to reach, so we opted for Coral Island, and chartered a speed boat to take us... We've stayed 3 nights in Coral Island Resort, in a beachfront bungalow during a 3 weeks stay in Thailand. To give some perspective to my review and to be fair to the resort, our trip was made of 2 weeks in the north (mostly in cheap guesthouses) and a last week in the south to enjoy the beach and relax....
