We stayed 3 nights in one of their cottages - quaint, clean and peaceful. Owned and run by a kind, wonderful family who have taken great care over the years to maintain the motels, cottages and cabins. Many of the same people go back year after year. Very family oriented. Cabins are old, but well-maintained and nestled among large pine trees. Each cabin has a picnic table. Pinehurst offers access to the St. Lawrence River with a boat ramp and dockage. They also have a small beach with a view of the shipping channel. My husband and I took a short walk down to the river one evening to sit on a swinging bench and watch the sun set as the ships went by. Beautiful!

Attached to the office is a small convenience store where you can buy a variety of staples including milk, bread, butter, sun tan lotion, shampoo, matches, etc. We also noticed a net set up on the large lawn in front of the owners house where guests are welcome to play volleyball.
