First I should say we were there for a comfortable base for recovery from having surgery at an excellent nearby clinic. For this, it was a very good option and provided us with a practical and comfortable base. I do not recommend this hotel! I stayed there for six nights for work and was told that it was a "fun beach resort." Ummm, no, it wasn't. We stayed here at the start and end of our month in Tunisia. We booked through Makemytrip (an Indian site) which meant, given that the £ is so good against the Rupee, that we ended up paying a third of the Hotel's listed price. I attended a conference at the Ramada Plaza for six nights in November. The property is probably a good three stars with problematic staff and typical hassles one finds in less-traveled parts of the world. Thankfully we didn’t experience any of the problems as those encountered by the previous reviewers and would recommend a stay at the Ramada Plaza to anyone looking for good value in relaxed surroundings.
