Returned from a week stay at the averroes, i found staff very friendly and helpful, rooms spotless and views outstanding (sea view). Unfortunatly thats where it ended, dinning was terrible and most waiters were arroant but worse than that all catering staff need a lesson in food handling. I returned home over a week ago and still havent recovered from... more

this is our second visit this year and what a warm and freindly reception we recieved there had been one or two changes which improved the service in the restaurant all the staff were great, to single one out would be unfair to the rest from maintance to the boss they are all great in looking after the both of... more

We stayed at the Averroes for a fortnight at the end of August and the weather was fabulous. The General Manager is extremely welcoming and friendly and everyone from waiting staff to lifeguards made an huge effort to make us feel relaxed. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and very clean and our room was huge with a beautiful pool... more

We stayed in this hotel for 10 days mid september for a late summer holiday, the weather was still really hot at this time, from mid 30s to 40 degrees which was great. The transfer from the airport says its 1hr 45 but its more like an hour, it does depend how many drop offs there are though. The resort... more

We decided to go to Tunisia this summer for the warm weather and beautiful beaches... and off course to meet the culture and local people. We chose a 4 star hotel for the All inclusive - deal. Ideal when you travel with small children. We arrived at the hotel late in the evening. They were expecting us and were ready... more

This summer my family and I decided to come back to Tunisia once more. Last year we stayed at Riu Bellevue Park (Port El Kantaoui), it was great. I have to say you can’t compare a 4-star Riu with a 4-star Iberostar, the quality is not the same. We’ve been to 5-star Iberostar hotels in Dominican Republic, we loved it,... more

We stayed here from 9th to 16th July 08 after booking well in advance (in Jan 08). We had researched the hotel before booking so we were pretty much aware it was of a good standard and had received good reviews. However, I was still nervous as my husband is quite a fussy eater and usually finds fault regardless of... more

Starting from advantages: The hotel is well located with 5 min walk to Medina with Carthage Land (that is really nice not only for children but for adults as well). A tourist train to the old part of Hammamet is a must, this how you will feel the difference and understand that Yasmine Hammamet is a heaven, also just nice... more

july 2008 we have just returned from our stay at this superb hotel. As a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers, i have to say i was delighted with every aspect of the hotel and its staff. After the hour and a half drive from the airport, we were greeted by the hotel reception staff who immediately brought us... more
