I stayed about 4 days in total in Carthago during November. Overall it was a pleasant stay without serious problems. Rooms are very large and clean, and that applies fror the public areas too. Nothing less than the Tunisian 5* hotels standards. I didn't use the pool, but seemed to me may be very crowdy during summer,as too small for... more

We have just returned from this hotel after a dissapointing holiday. We were expecting a 5 star hotel but would not rate it as such. The building is impressive also the interior but food poor especially main course which we gave up on after a couple of days and stuck to the starters. The pool is good but seating is... more

3 adults staying at the Karthago for 2 weeks - we had booked seaview, but didn't know that this meant being blasted by disco music every single night with the stage arranged in front of the hotel so that most of the 'seaview' rooms could benefit from this noise. Often went on past midnight. During the day disco music as... more

I have just come back from tunisia, where we stayed in Karthago hotel in Hammamet. The hotel looked very nice at first, especially the lobby, but the people in the reception were too rude and showed no respect for the customers. The rooms were ok,but for a 5 star hotel, they should be more luxurius......and more equipped.... The food was ok,but not really clean.....and... more

Arrived at night by bus from monastir and were pleased to see that people were awake (other Hotels on the way looked closed and staff took a while to open the doors). Hotel is attractive and extremely clean. Buffet breakfast and dinner were generally excellent with a large variety to suit all tastes including our 15 year old daughters. Service... more

Karthago hotel is a really nice hotel by tunisian standards. It's well situated in front of the Marina and beach is just a walk away. Rooms are pretty large (a bit larger than more standard hotel rooms around tha world) and extremely clean as a matter of fact this hotel is 2-3 years old ! so the facilities are totally new.... more

When we came to Tunisia, we were told that our original hotel was overbooked, so we had to be transferred to Karthago Hotel. And I believe that this was the best thing that happened to us during our stay. We arrived at the hotel early in the morning (about 5 a.m.) and the breakfast didn't start until 7 a.m. The... more

I had a terrible experience with Khartago Hammmet recently. It is rated (5* locally) but does not deserve more than one *. The service is very poor (reception, restaurants, and other personnel). The rooms are small, not clean, and with limited equipments. more
