Arrived at night by bus from monastir and were pleased to see that people were awake (other Hotels on the way looked closed and staff took a while to open the doors). Karthago hotel is a really nice hotel by tunisian standards.It's well situated in front of the Marina and beach is just a walk away. Rooms are pretty large (a bit larger than more standard hotel rooms around tha world) and extremely clean as a matter of fact this hotel is 2-3 years old ! so the facilities are totally new.... more

I had a terrible experience with Khartago Hammmet recently. It is rated (5* locally) but does not deserve more than one *. The service is very poor (reception, restaurants, and other personnel). The rooms are small, not clean, and with limited equipments. more
