Very nice hotel in Hammamet. Said to have the nicest beach, turquoise waters and fine golden sand. Great food, great service, very clean. The garden is amazing, lots of flowers and palm trees. more

We are just back yesterday from a week in this hotel and had a really lovely holiday. We had read the reviews and were a bit apprehensive so went with an open mind. We found the food to be fine with a great selection. Breakfast did have salads etc which was not to our taste but plenty other things to... more

Gardens and pools great, unfortunately it was too cold to use the outside pools. The staff were very helpful, especially the gentleman who did the sunbeds and towels. The food was inedible, cold even at 6pm opening time. Breakfast wasn't too bad, but if you didn't eat salad or wheat you had problems, eggs available in the morning and pizza... more

First stayed at the Barcelo (then the Miramar) in February 1996; I was attracted by the description of 'old style elegance, faded a bit around the edges' and the location. I liked it and Tunisia so much I went back in May the following year with friends. Had a week's holiday to use up this year and persuaded boyfriend to... more

This is a new Barcelo acquisition previously known as the Miramar and is a collection of two storey buildings set in fine gardens on the beachfront. Our first floor seaview accom. was excellent with cleaning and fresh towels provided daily. The only downside was the food ,which unlike my previous Barcelo stays in other resorts, is unsuitable for the Brits... more

The hotel , previously the 'Miramat' is a large hotel 300 plus rooms and well spread out There are about 7 distinctive blocks of rooms with three floors maximum. There are extensive grounds and the hotel is adjoining the beach which has sun shades and a... more

Just returned from a week long holiday. We found Tunisia to be a great destination with lots of history and culture to soak in. Our stay at the hotel was very enjoyable with friendly staff. We were half-board and found plenty of choice for breakfast and the food to be very good - if you expect an English breadfast go... more
