I stayed at Marina Palace for a week in September 2009. We looked for a nice hotel, where we could spend a quiet vacation, but on a budget. So, at 370€ (330£) for plane and 7 nights in half-board, the Marina Palace seemed like a good choice. Before going into the details, you have to know that in Tunisia, only... more

Quite good except for the old and rummage sheets and moquette! The rooms are spatious and food was plenty, clean and delicious. The pool was nice and pleasant. You should ask for a room with view and balcony, otherwise they 'll give you one without... The girls at the beauty parlour are very good at their job, although they don't... more

Stayed here March 2009 with a Page and Moy tour group after having a great time elsewhere in Tunisia. First impressions are good although chaotic check in. Rooms are in a block at a right angle to the hotel. Rooms are big, but need tlc, eg curtains difficult to pull, balcony furniture filthy, only 1 bottle of shampoo provided for... more

Hello travel’s… My experience in this hotel was terrible, the man in the reception only speaks arabe and French :(, it give us the room 403 (old and dirty room with insects and a lizard…uuuu), so we ask to change to another room and they send us to the room 526 (but with difficulty the man in the reception). The... more

I have just returned from a week and a half at Marina Palace in Hammamet. I confess I was a little aprehensive about going to this hotel after what I read in some reviews, but it was ok in general. It is more like a 3 star hotel than 4, but if you whant to go and be at the... more

I have recently returned from a week’s holiday at the Marina Place with my partner and 8yr old son. I must admit I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews, but I have found most unfounded. On arrival we were allocated a ground floor room, although we had asked for a high room, which was a little... more

I was a little apprehensive about my holiday having read some of the reviews, but I thought it was a lot better than made out. It is more a nice 3* than a 4*, as it is quite basic with little to do in the evening... but then I went with my boyfriend and another couple and we found that... more

Oh my God !!!! I have travelled the world and been to Tunisia 4 times now and this is by far the worst hotel I have EVER stayed in. It's advertised as a 4 star but in my opinion it's only a 2 star. The bedrooms are extremely basic, the food is appalling, the hotel is in need of serious... more

Before you go to Tunisia make sure you have a pen so you can fill in forms at the airport to get into the country. Back to the hotel, the waiters and receptionist's were very good. They all speak good english, french, german, arabic. The swimming pool was lovely, cold but you will get used to it. Rooms were cleaned everyday plus the... more
