We stayed here for one night during Ramadan 2006. Despite the great beach location and the low prices I would not recommend this hotel. The hotel has an extremely seedy character. When I saw another description of this hotel I decided to give my opinion. We have been there already 7times (SEVEN TIMES!!) and our evaluation (above average) applies only to people, who attach special importance to an individual vacation. According to our opinion there is no security problem and we have never seen people who enjoy themselves at the beach... more

The Monastir Beach is perched on a long corridor halfway between the corniche and the beach,and is thus below road level and above the sands.During the day,numerous people climb up and down the concrete stairwell to use the toilets located on the same level,to buy sandwiches ,play pool in the hotel's tiny reception room and stock up on water.If they... more
