In the middle of the old section of Antalya is this grand old Ottoman house, now converted by the previous owners’ grandson into a hotel/bed-and-breakfast. We had booked through ‘Small Hotels of Turkey’ but when we arrived this seemed a puzzle to our host….however he gave us the best room in the house…furnished with his grandmother’s grand wedding bed! We managed to squeeze our rental car into a space in the street around the corner. We had arrived too early in the season (late April) for the pool to be filled with water. The breakfasts were fine and we enjoyed walking the streets of this old town. more
