I recently stayed in this "Hotel" for a family wedding.
On arriving at the Hotel late on the Friday night we thought we had in fact arrived in paradise. The grounds in the Hotel are stunning and with the proper staff this could in fact be a fantastic romantic place to visit. Unfortunately the gardens on closer inspection, as with most of the Hotel,did not live up to expectations.
The breakfast in the mornings were disappointing - a very sparse selection of cheeses that didn't change for the entire week. The promised cold meat selection never appeared.
On the web site they write lavishly about the stunning gardens and the three wonderful swimming pools, as they should because they are beautiful , or should I say they would be if they all were usable. The children's pool was empty and the romantic cave side pool may have had water in it but I couldn't tell for all the green mould floating on top.
