After reading the mixed reviews on a holiday we had already booked we set out to make our own minds up. The Zorlu is definately the worst hotel we have stayed in in Turkey and not a 2 star hotel. It resembles and is what you would expect from a backpackers hostel. The reception is shabby and the room keys not secure. The lift is dangerous and there is no handrail on the spiral marble stairs. The light was off on one landing and you could not see where you were going. The dining area was either very shabby or dirty. The windows and doors had huge gaps around them, the downstaire windows looked as though they had not been cleaned for a long while. We lasted 3 days and moved. The reviews which have said this hotel is excellent are not telling the truth. more
