just returned yesterday ,had good fun bar staff great especially pedro, but!!! very much a lottery with rooms every body changing rooms we noticed about 8 changes while there. our room was terrible a 12 foot box and very dirty. other rooms ok. so look before u agree.pool area very nice food ok, and watch out floor very slippery.best food... more

Given that we booked this trip 24 hours before departure, on a low budget, it was what we expected. The staff were very friendly and worked hard. When we arrived our balcony door was broken and we couldn't open it, they gave us free air conditioning until it was fixed, however it took several prompts to get the door fixed.... more

The manager & staff where very friendly & helpful. Our room was basic but very clean. We were a bit fed up with boiled eggs, toast & jam every morning, would have prefered a choice of cereal as well. We have just come back from spending 2 fantastic weeks at the Istancoy Hotel,it was good value for money,very basic but clean. The pool at the top of the hotel was a bonus,although nthe water was very cold,it was lovely to go there to do a spot of sunbathing. The staff were most helpful and nothing was too much trouble.... more

april 6 2008 i was staying at the turkin hotel i had booked there for a months stay but after 2 days i left and booked into the istankoy a lovely little hotel they made me very welcome and couldnt do anough for me the rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly knowing they were getting ready... more

Hotel Istankoy was very disappointing. My partner and I were there for 2 weeks, the breakfast was a Turkish one which consists of Bread, Olives, Cheese and ham every morning. We were chatting to other people who had money and items stolen from their rooms, we had a brand new bottle of expensive sun tan lotion stolen and our friends... more

The location is superb and the staff are really nice BUT... this hotel is full of british chavs. There is a 24 hour bar and this hotel is really small, meaning many of the rooms are just above the bar. It's not an exaggeration to say it's noisy all thro the night, drunken people singing, as well as banging doors... more

This has to have been the one of my favourite hotels that i have stayed at due to how great the staff are. They made my holiday really enjoyable. I can't wait to go back next year! :) more
