If you are not fussed about staying in a 4 star hotel, and you want to know what it's really like to live in Kusadaci but in comfort, this is where you stay. Awesome location (apart from the fact its on a hill). literally takes 2 minutes to walk to the main Bazaar and see Kusadaci, port is 5 minutes... more

My fiance and I spent two and a half wonderful weeks traveling throughout Turkey. This was our favorite place to wake up! The owners, an Australian/Kurdish couple could not have been more accommodating and friendly. The guest house is a little set back from the seaside and tricky to find, but they came down to the seaside to meet us... more

Though a little bit far from the seaside, this small pension is still within the walking distance and easy to find if you follow the map on its website and the signs along the road. The owners Sandra and Yusuf are very nice and helpful, giving advices to your sightseeing. The quality of the room is reasonable for the price... more

Golden Bed has an excellent central location (located up the hill), nice rooms, a great terrace view of Kusadasi, internet access and a lovely Australian owner -- for Pension-style accommodation, this is an excellent choice. more

Our hosts arranged for a car and driver to take us to Priene and Miletus and then to a great seafood restaurant on the beach in a place we would never have found on our own. We ended up in a carpet shop in Selcuk and back home. What a great day. more

We had a very nice stay here. Sandra and Yusuf were especially nice and accommodating to our family of 5. The place is beautifully appointed with clean and comfortable rooms. Mostly we were looking for a place that was clean, cheap and close to Ephisus. On that count it couldn't have been better plus it's only a couple of minutes... more

Golden Bed is a lovely small B&B (private baths) overlooking the city of Kusadasi, Turkey. Sandra & Yusaf, the owners, made our stay very personal in helping us locate fun local resturants, suggesting places of interest, car rental, and the best place to purchase carpets/rugs. The breakfasts were delicious and typical Mediterranean with fresh fruits & veggies, hard boiled eggs,... more

Overall, it's not a bad place to stay but we only got hot water on one day during our stay - brrrr ! Also, be careful when accepting a free "courtesy shuttle" to places like Ephesus or other attractions. You'll end up going to a Selcuk carpet shop with a very demanding salesman who may not give you a ride... more

I was very sorry to read this review: We offer a courtesy shuttle to Ephesus and Selcuk, which takes in our hand-made carpet and kilim store. We do give our guests the option of taking the regular mini-bus to Ephesus as well. Unfortunately, these particular guests were interested in purchasing a carpet and our driver spent alot of time driving...

We stayed at the Golden Bed a few weeks ago. The location isn't easy to find so make sure if you are traveling by yourself you get SPECIFIC directions. It is up several steep roads/alleys and the last 3 hills you climb yourself. The people there are very nice. The owners seem to really care about your stay. The bed... more
