Lovely home feeling, breakfast on the lawn was great, watch out for the attack duck!!! The uphill walk from the town is still worth it. Loved the grape vine on the balconey, yum yum. Our room was great, nice bed and plenty of room, kitchen and shower.

What a place! Our group of 16 checked in, and the last 3 of us to be allocated a room got the top floor. It consists of a larger lounge/bar/kitchenette/single bed and a double bedroom. Also a huge balcony overlooking Ayvalik. Both rooms are under the roofline, so have ceilings sloping in on both sides. Hilarious are the bathrooms off... More

They have the best breakfast in Turkey! It is so colorful with many dishes, and some vegetables and fruits are from their own garden. Also the garden is full of flowers and has a nice view of Cunda and Egean islands. Especially at sunset time just sitting in the garden is great. We will come again!!

We spent few days of our west coast Turkey trip here. Building is little bit old fashioned. However the food, view and the clean rooms removed all the negative energy from our bodies. We loved the long breakfasts, clean and antique furniture rooms. Staff and th ehotel owner were very helpfull and they had big happy smiles on their faces.... More

everyone who visited Turkey, should visit the ayvalik! city of peace! also gunebakan was really grea, the hotel owner is really cute woman and the hotel area is quite peacefull, about foods we all waited the mornings for that great breakfast! thank you gunebakan for having us!

We stayed here for a week. With our 15 months baby boy. It's a great place for baby with ducks, cats and kind people, health food, clean and comfortable rooms. Great value. It's my first time here. Metin Solmaz

Gunebakan Taliani was one of the most expensive accomodations, but absolutely the worst experience in our whole Turkey trip. I ordered double room with extra bed for fixed price via e-mail in November 2010 for September 2011. My order and the price was confirmed. The first problem - they were surprised when we came ! First of all, I advise all Ayvalık travellers to stay in Alibey/Cunda island which is connected to mainland Ayvalık with a bridge, and is within 10 minute driving distance.
