We arrived in Goreme after a 19 hour trip from Istanbul. Needless to say we were rather tired and hungry. We got offered a cup of apple tea, nice indeed. It was much less enjoyable however having to listen to one of the brothers (was it coco or eko?) ramble on about all the possible tours he could offer. Feeling slightly annoyed already I interrupted him, mentioning we were very tired and hungry. This however to no avail (Let me finish my story please...).

The rooms on the upper level had a great view but a somewhat strange odour. The only toilet (smelly) is 30 meters down after a couple of steep stairs. Not great when you have to go to the toilet in middle of the night. Both of the brothers seemed rather dodgy and far from genuinely friendly. The only positive things I can say about this hotel are the good views and the friendly "lower" staff. All in all you can find a much nicer place in Goreme easily. more
