Located in the center of Goreme this place provides a wonderful starting point from which to make excursions around Cappadocia. The friendly owner took time to explain the various hikes around the area, great if you are one of those (like us) who are not interested in the mass tourism route. Don't miss out on the Rose Valley hike. He can also get you a good price on tours if you are interested in them. The dorm rooms are in a cave and they are the cheapest place in town, though not the most romantic. Real matresses, blankets and linens are all included with the rooms. We didn't stay in the private rooms but were told that they were also quite good though a bit cold. The hostel is reasonably clean and boasts a comfortable common room. The breakfast, though not included, is excellent and freshly made, worth the 5 YTL. In the warm season there is an outdoor pool which looked really nice.
