I cannot imagine why anyone would recommend this place. The room was OK for the price but the bathroom was disgusting, with black mould all over the tiles. The whole facility was an untidy mess with all kinds of things strewn everywhere. My bad experience started even before arriving at the hotel. The staff at the otogar's info booth called... more

My parents and I had a fantastic stay in Goreme at this place. We had a 4 bed room at the back of the cave which was spacious. Small clean bathroom with plenty of hot water. Traveller's cave pension is the best pleace to stay in cappadocia,very friendly and helpful staff and owner,if i go to cappadocia again i'll stay in this pension (highly recommend this pension 100%. ) more

Great hostel. Living in a cave is not for everyone, but people with adventurous spirit can really appreciate this experience. Most of the guests are east-asians (Japanese, Koreans, etc..) maybe because it's winter, though western tourists arrive every now & then. A nice place with very nice owner (Bekir), friendly staff (they even have an english-speaking Japanese staff), good food (though less variety) at their small terrace restaurant with a nice view of the valleys. 5-minute walk to the town... more

Travellers cave is fantastic ! First of all for the ones who love cappadocia you will be amazed by the scenery offered from the terrace were you can eat a delicious breakfast in the morning.
