Our 8 beautiful rooms are pleasantly and elegantly decorated in warm, soft colours with antique furnishings and private en-suite bathrooms, natural air conditioning and cozy down duvets. Each room offers its own special romantic atmosphere and an escape from the ordinary. Two of the double rooms are also lavished with jacuzzis, one of them is extra special - which we call the honeymoon suite, this also has a fireplace to create that special atmosphere. The quad room is actually a spacious family room complete with fireplace and jacuzzi. more » « less

We too read all the rave reviews - and Kismet Cave lived up to all of them - it was even better in our view. Faruk made our stay in Cappadocia a wonderful experience. You definitely feel a sadness at saying good-bye to him as he treats you like a friend. Don't worry - he is not too friendly or... more

I stayed in two different rooms during my visit. The first room was on the ground floor. It was fair except a bit nosy at night. When I returned two days later, the room in the basement was a disaster. Cold, no toilet paper and even noisier than the one before because the room was right next to the kitchen... more

I stayed for 3 nights with my husband last month (Sept 08). We had a great, great experience!!! The room was very very pretty, everything was clean and nice. The breakfast was amazing. The location is perfect since is walking distance from the "city center". But the highlights of this hotel is Faruk, the owner... he is one of the... more

We stayed 3 nights at this "hotel" which is really more like a family-run Bed & Breakfast, and we wished we could have stayed longer. The owner, Faruk, said he spent 6 years constructing the hotel in one of the amazing conical rock formations of Kapadokya, so getting to stay in one of these caves is amazing in itself. The... more

What a wonderful welcome. For the time I spent in Goreme, my stay would not have been complete if I had not had the warm welcome and hospitality of owner Faruk and his family. This decorative hotel which has been refurbished into authentic cave like surrounds, gives excellent value for money. Lovely breakfast, very reasonable trips and balloon flights and... more

After reading all the glowing reviews of this hotel on this website I picked up my phone in Istanbul and called Faruk and made a booking. Faruk is indeed a nice guy ... but ... please, read on: 1. The rooms were not so clean ... in fact, a thin layer of dust covered everything ... plus, the Turkish style... more

Before we left for Turkey, we couldn't decide whether to spend a little extra to stay at the Kismet Cave hotel. After reading the reviews, we decided it was a "no-brainer" and went for it. Now that we are back, we know we made the right decision. Not only is the hotel beautiful, but everything written about the owner Faruk... more

We discovered the Kismit Cave House on the Cappadocia web site and booked our stay directly with Mr. Faruk. My husband was born in Turkey so every time we go to visit relatives we add a historical side trip. How lucky we were to have chosen this cave house. There is little to add to all the glowing reviews already... more

In our 10 day trip to Turkey, the time we spent here was clearly the high point. Beyond the wonder of staying in a cave room, what is truly unique about this hotel is the owner, Faruk. This wonderful man is so invested in Cappadocia that he goes way beyond the call of duty to help his guests get the... more
