I was one of a party of two who stayed one evening at Anatolian Houses. My friend and I could not have been more pleased with out experience. Clean rooms with adorable touches, such as flower petal arrangements on the bed, a jacuzzi, and a late check out at no extra charge. The hotel itself was the highlight of our... more

This was our favorite hotel on a two week trip staying in Turkey and Greece in rooms costing as much as $1400 per USD night. I told my travel agent I was concerned about this hotel after reading reviews and she ensured me that the service issues were remedied and she was right. The service was impecable, the breakfast was... more

In the cold months of 2006 when I got married so high was the desire to travel to Turkey for our honeymoon that we waited 5 months before we set out and was it worth it? Cappadocia, was our second stop and having been to Istanbul, Expectations were high and we reached the hotel it was so dark we honestly... more

My expectations for the Anatolian Houses were very high before I even arrived. The website painted a beautiful picture, but seeing the hotel in person is another story. I was completely blown away by the detail both inside and outside the room. I felt like they rolled out the red carpet from the moment we arrived. The entire hotel staff... more

The setting was beautiful. The room decor and the entire hotel atmosphere was a comforting blend of Turkish tradition and modern amenities. My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights last months and it was rather difficult to leave the place! I can honestly say we did not eat at the restaurant and I can easily see how the... more

Beautiful place, they spent a fortune, but the staff can't fog up a mirror. The hammam was cold in spite of many hours' notice. To conserve energy, they only heat up the steam and sauna 10 minutes before you enter, so they're not hot either. Most of the staff speak no English and the friendliest they get is a look... more

This hotel should receive five stars for its setting and physical beauty, but I agree with the other posters-service is not consistent and the hotel is expensive for what it offers. Our family stayed here last month. We rented two separate rooms so we were able to compare not only the rooms themselves but the service in each. We had... more

We stayed there for 4 nights in June, and agree with the previous reviewer. The hotel itself is beautiful - very sophisticated (but not fancy) and filled with lovely, imaginative details. Our room, too, was gorgeous and one of the most evocative hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. also on the plus side, breakfast was in a wonderful setting, and... more

Our room, as promised on the website was gorgeous. It had a fireplace, a Jacuzzi, a canopy bed…the works. And the hotel is beautiful (they even have a wine fountain)…so no complaints there. My only grouse seemed to be with the service. The 2 women who seemed to be at the reception most of the time had an air of... more
