We stayed here for one night only whilst on an over night stop to Pummakale. The Grand Sevgi is quite a large hotel with an outdoor pool and indoor hot baths. The hotel seemed to be used by tour groups with the guides no doubt getting a kick back from the hotel.

When built I'm sure it was a modern and well appointed hotel but it's now in severe need of refurbishment which did seem to have started in some areas of the building. We had a large family room with a random collection of six single beds. The room didn't feel clean - I think it actually was but all the carpets and bed clothes looked ancient which made it feel horrible. The bathroom was a revalation though! Brand new and very modern - in total contrast to the rest of the hotel. The floor below us seemed to be closed for renovation so maybe they're starting to improve the hotel.

We had dinner at the hotel as it was included in our price. It was a typical turkish buffet with quite a good selection... more
