We had the unfortunate experience of staying here while on a two day tour of Ephesus and Pamukkale, luckily it was only for one night. Upon arrival, the reception area seems impressive but looking beyond the desk area gives a clue to the rest of the hotel.
The whole place had the feel of needing refurbishment. Bedrooms were small and very shoddy. Public areas of the hotel were dark and scruffy. The restaurant was completely disorganised and run by rude, unhelpful staff that provided poor service. Food quality was below average with dinner being awful and breakfast only marginally better.
Everything in the hotel was overpriced and charged in Euros, which provided another sting. If you tried to pay in anything but Euros, the hotel applied a ridiculous exchange rate that inflated the already exorbitant prices.
Any thoughts of escaping the hotel were dashed as it is in the middle of nowhere.
