We found Hal-Tur in our guide book on Turkey. Our room was THE ENTIRE top floor of the building. We had the roof top balcony, too. The room was very comfortable and had WiFi access, two large beds, a television, refrigerator and PLENTY of space for our family of four. The staff was extremely kind and attentive. All rooms (especially... more

The Hal-Tur is a very pleasant little hotel in an oddly frantic little town. Pamukkale is the home of the fascinating ancient ruins of Hierapolis, a Roman spa town. The theater is one of the finest in Turkey and the necropolis is filled with intruguing sarcophagi. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site also noted for it's strange thermal deposits and... more

We selected this hotel after reading other reviews on this site. Our tight itinerary only allowed us to spend one night here but we loved it. After spending the day mixing with the busloads of tourists who visit Hieropolis and the terraces of Pamukkale it was wonderful to retreat to this small family run hotel. Our room overlooking the terraces... more

I stayed here with my family with 2 kids for one night on May-21st. I felt welcome in this hotel the moment we got off the cab. Hotel staff came and greeted me and picked up my luggage right away. This did not happen in one of the 5 star hotels i stayed in Antalya :-) ...( a day later...)... more

I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stop by Pammukale. My friend and I were roadtripping through Turkey and stayed at this hotel for two nights. Not only did we have a great view of the Cotton Castle, but the hosts (Osman and his cousin) were amazing. They joined us for dinner and I learned more about Turkey... more

The Hal-Tur is a nice and simple base from which to visit the famous travertine terraces and the ancient ruined city of Hierapolis beyond. The owner is friendly and helpful. While it's a fairly basic hotel, it appeared to be nicer than any other hotel I saw in the town. Dinner in the restaurant was good, straightforward Turkish food and... more

We ignored the hotel touts swarming at the city limits of Pamukkale and drove straight to this hotel based on other reviews on trip advisor. We were not disappointed. Hard to imagine a better location, positioned as it is at the foot of the pool cascades. as I was travelling with my elderly parents, the owners (Tufan and Fettah) were... more

Pamukkale and the surrounding area does not appear to have a wide range of good hotel choices and the town seems to have fallen on hard times. However, based on Trip Advisor reviews, we chose the Hal Tur. We were not disappointed and honestly believe it is the best choice in the area which is why I have rated it... more
