Location is fine, close to the ski area but dependent on hotel-provided transport (lifts, shuttle - at a cost equal to a taxi) to get to the main ski lifts, to the airport or into the town itself. Stayed at the Renaissance in March 2009. Hotel is right on the ski fields, and theres a chair lift less then 30m from the front door. Hotel is clean and rooms are very well sized. Erzurum is in the northeastern part of Turkey. We arrived there by Turkish Airlines from Istanbul.
