The rooms were clean and had all the character we had expected from an old restored Ottoman house. The breakfast was the usual Turkish fare, so nothing special there. The beds were quite comfortable. The historic Ottoman areas of Safranbolu are like a living museum. Hatice Hanum Konagi is actually three or four hotels belonging to Mrs Hatice. Each house has about 15 - 20 rooms.
