The previous reviews really summed up this place. Scruffy and in need of some TLC overlooking a boatyard, but otherwise superb views; good, hearty Turkish breakfast and very friendly staff. The fact that most of the guests were there for their 2nd, 3rd up to incredibly their 13th year just sums up the response to this hotel, - like them... more

We read some negative feedback on the hotel, but also, reading between the lines, we saw that it has to be viewed as a "budget hotel". Our needs are simple - somewhere clean, comfortable beds, air conditioning. For approx £6.50/day The Mediteran provided this, and included a simple but pleasant breakfast. this was enjoyed sat on the waters edge, something that less... more

Holiday in Fethiye in Hotel Mediteran. Me and my wife had a good time in Turkey, the weather was great, food was tasty and the environment and people was great. Unfortunately the hotel was not 3 stars as stated and I believe its not even 2 stars, this is misleading. The condition was bad, the room was a disaster, in... more

rooms are larger than usual, bathrooms look as though they have just been re-tiled etc,the pools very big but never too many people around it which is good.the bar and restaurant area is superb right on the waters edge, don,t be put off by the reception area as this could do with a paint job.all the other guests thought the same as... more

I booked this hotel because I was doing a diving course and the diving centre is in the hotel grounds. For a tired diver needing to crash, it was right on the money. It is exactly what I expected from the reviews. It's a bit run down and basic, towels and sheets are ancient but kept clean. Water wasn't hot... more

What a disappointment this hotel was - rated a 3 star and photos looked lovely. Booked it as a pressie for my lovely man's 50th...what a shock when we walked in the reception area - dire! OK it was cheap but the rooms and passageways need some serious TLC! Gardern too was a tip something the manager could have done... more

er... dogs, cockerels, mosques, heat, and all at 7am. this hotel is at the cheap end and it knows it. its nestled in-between two boatyards on the edge of town. the distance isnt a problem as there are frequent and cheap bus services to the centre however the location really is more industrial zone than residential. the rooms are basic... more

Not a great stay to be honest. The pool was out of order for several days due to someone filling it with too much chlorine, and was very very grimy indeed preceeding this problem about half way through our two week stay. The holiday from start to finish was a bit of a disaster with the hotel for a start... more

Firstly if you don't like dogs or cats then DO NOT GO TO FETHIYE but if you don't mind them then this is a lovely place. I am not a dog or cat lover and the fact that there were a fair few wild dogs around it really put me off coz i couldn't go for walks along the harbour... more

Firstly a big thankyou to everyone who slated the hotel, i've just returned on oct the 13th , the hotel has been repainted and little bits of TLC added to make it even better. I really dont understand why people book here then slate the place, your paying £3.60 a night b+b for gods sake!!! This year the service as... more
