Yediburunlar has the most spectacular views of any place we stayed at on our two-week Turkey trip. You get to the lighthouse by winding your way up a small road through the hills above the coast through tiny villages. It's perched right at the top of cliffs that tower over the turquoise sea below. We're really glad we opted to... More

It was my husband's birthday yesterday so we chose to celebrate it with a birthday lunch at our favourite restaurant - Yediburunlar. Semra's food was delicious, colourful and a wonderful treat, & Yediburunlar itself is as magnificent as ever - perched high on a mountain-top overlooking the bays & coves. Semra made Chris a special & traditionally-Turkish birthday dessert of... More

8 Lycian Way walkers were here! Far a way from every noise and dust of the world, closer to heaven.. We met with hospitality of nice staff. magnificent panorama view, nice rooms, tasty food are the things that we'll never forget. I plan to visit you again in this year, this time with my wife for our tenth anniversary..

Is there anything more to wish for? Leon and Semre were very helpful and hospitable in every way: they guided us to two beautiful walking tracks, cooked lovely food and created a lovely, quiet, well designed place to stay, at a paradislike spot. In the surroundings there are beautiful, spectacular walking tracks, amongst them Lycian Way tracks. We chose the... More

Yediburunlar is a challenge to any reviewer. Firstly because the location and the views are impossible to put into words - they are simply stupendous. Secondly, the wonderful tasty food cannot be easily described. Thirdly, because there are some things about this place that are rather idiosyncratic. Some people will undoubtedly find these oddities irritating, while others will revel in... More

Driving to Yediburunlar Lighthouse Hotel, one’s first glimpse of the place comes at a high bend in the road where, at a distance, it looks like a miniature seaside version of Lhasa’s Potala Palace, sprawling along the edge of a sheer cliff. The Potala analogy holds in other respects too, for Yediburunlar is nothing if not a place steeped in... More

Everything about this spot was spectacular - the views, the rooms, the delicious food, the gracious hosts. We wished we had booked more than one night to stay - there are mountain bikes and hiking trails that can be taken down to the lagoons below. There are covered areas with hammocks for relaxing, backgammon, cards... A perfect stop on a... More

The photos you see tell the truth: this hotel is in a stunning location. If you want to get away from it all, then this could be the place for you, as long as you expect rustic charm, rather than scenic sophistication. The hotel makes the most of its location and isolation. All rooms enjoy very good views. It's in... More

I realise how difficult it is to write a review against the general trend without sounding overly picky or difficult to please but we did not like this hotel at all. We stayed here for three nights in the middle of a two week holiday and this establishment failed to meet hotel standards in far too many respects. I do... More

My husband and I have two words that we feel best describes the Yediburunlar Lighthouse....."Imperfect Perfection"! The appeal of this resort lies not in sophistication or grandeur but in its simplicity and warm rustic charm. The grounds are anything but manicured. An informal collection of familiar and useful plants and herbs, long grasses laced with wild flowers, plain ornamentation, litchen... More
