Having read some adverse publicity about The Han Palace we had some reservations about what we would find.
We needn't have worried - all our expectations were exceeded.
The Han Palace and it's sister adjoining hotel the Seren Sari, share facilities such as pools, reception and restaurant.
They are budget hotels and if you are looking for 5 star luxury you should not stay here.
However, if you are looking for budget accommodation you can't go far wrong here. The hotel is 100m from the beach and night time entertainment and a 1.5 lira bus trip from Bar Street.
The staff, without exception, were friendly efficient and helpful. The rooms are large (no single supplement either) and more than adequate - mine only let down by a bit of grotty grouting around the shower.
The restaurant (which gives guests a 20% discount on food and drinks) had a good menu with good quality food, both Turkish and English. There was also no charge for the shoulder masages whilst waiting... more
