After 2 days on a bus without a shower we were happy to find Hotel Nur near the center of Trabzon. Helpful, English speaking staff greeted us and showed us the room before paying. İt's simple accomodations but with firm beds, clean white sheets, and decent hot shower. The views from the 5th floor were fantastic. And, yes, the mosque will wake you up at 5am but it only lasts a minute and is kinda charming. I would definitely stay here again. And don't miss the Sumela Monestary, it's breathtaking! more
