I stayed at this hotel while visiting friends in Chernivtsy in July 2007. I chose this hotel due to proximity to my friends' apartment building which was right next door.
The hotel is rather old and in need of renovations. I stayed in a twin room with my travel buddy. The room was on level 4. We had a fridge, a television, a retro telephone with a dial ring on it. I don't think they were going for a retro look, the phone is just that old. There was no air-conditioning and we had to keep the window open to let the air in. The hotel also uses slabs of insulating foam for mattresses, but it was still comfortable to sleep on. Bathroom facilities were adequate, but I noticed the towels were taking on a yellow-grey shade.
