Al Ain is cool, so green and 'established', unlike Dubai (mostly a construction site). Yes Jebel Hafeet is very nice, but no need to stay in Mercure just for that reason, you can easily go there for an outing by car. Its a fantastic place and brilliant value for money, I would go again without hesitation. Will take the kids next time as it has good facilities for them. An all round great experience and value for money. A must-do when travelling in the area or looking for a break if your a local. more

As others have said, the views over Al Ain are fantastic. The hotel is well kept.up, rooms are good, albeit maybe a bit small. You'll need your own private transport to get to the hotel, as its on the outskirts of town. more

This hotel is worth a visit if only for the spectacular views over the surrounding conytryside from its elevated location.
