I stayed at the Millennium during a business trip. The hotel is located on the Corniche - man made creek and was a stone's throw from our office hence our preference. I attended a conference at this hotel and this is not the first time that I stay there, sometimes with family. The facilities are nice and the rooms are spacious. I would recommend asking for the lake view because the view is nice. Do not request airport pick up. It will cost you almost double what a taxi from Dubai... more

This hotel has some issues travellers need to be aware of, not least that Sharjah state is alchol free which may be an issue to some people who are travelling on holiday to enjoy themselves. This hotel is a bit like Sharjah. Austere, conservative, ugly on the exterior and dull as ditchwater. Nevertheless the rooms are comfortable, the gym good, the pools OK (and they charge a bomb for internet usage).
