I stayed in this hotel twice this year, 5 nights at beginning of Feb and 5 nights over Easter. The hotel is located overlooking the lagoon, the windows in the rooms are huge ( floor to ceiling) so you have a fantastic view if you are staying in the rooms facing, although, room standards are the same throughout, excellent. Very... more

I stayed at the Millennium during a business trip. The hotel is located on the Corniche - man made creek and was a stone's throw from our office hence our preference. The rooms are spacious and nice...have tea/coffee making facilities...iron board in the room. It also has internet facilities but didn't use it. Check in was smooth though they asked... more

I attended a conference at this hotel and this is not the first time that I stay there, sometimes with family. The facilities are nice and the rooms are spacious. I would recommend asking for the lake view because the view is nice. Do not request airport pick up. It will cost you almost double what a taxi from Dubai... more

This hotel has some issues travellers need to be aware of, not least that Sharjah state is alchol free which may be an issue to some people who are travelling on holiday to enjoy themselves. Also only book on the Corniche Road side of the Hotel as the the Mosque PA system situated a few feet of the Pool side... more

After reading the reviews on this site, I was desperate to avoid this hotel. After staying there for five nights, I am delighted to disagree with almost everything I read here. First, the hotel is far from "austere". It has quite a grand lobby, superb conference rooms and nicely presented guest rooms with good high speed internet access (near the... more

Glad to get away from the horrible english weather, Dubai itself was breath-taking. The most beautiful & colourful country I have ever been to so far. Loads to see & do (best was the Jeep Dessert Safari, Wild Wadi & Romantic Dhow Cruise) Loved to haggle (always go 1/4 of the price they quote u in the markets) Hotel itself... more

This hotel is a bit like Sharjah. Austere, conservative, ugly on the exterior and dull as ditchwater. Nevertheless the rooms are comfortable, the gym good, the pools OK (and they charge a bomb for internet usage). Perhaps the biggest plus for this hotel is that it is very close to Dubai but at Sharjah prices. more

I have stayed in this hotel with my gf two times. Second time on special conditions because of my complains to the management for the first stay. Rooms are very good, cleaness is great. But i was very dissatisfied with breakfast and overall lack of will from emloyees. They insisted on friends children using the small pool (which is for... more

Where do I begin? For starters this hotel loves to "nickel and dime" you for everything. They also charged me for the night before I arrived and refused to correct this at check out, citing that I was the one who requested to be billed for an extra night, it's crazy. All of the services have some type of fee,... more
