We chose this hotel because it was a Sheraton and the price was right. Additionally, this seemed to be the only property in the area with a pool and places to relax. The Sheraton Colonia was a nice change of pace after Buenos Aires. The hotel is only a few years old and the rooms and design are quite nice. i agree with the reviews below that the restaurant was overpriced and disappointing. <it is annoying that there is no shuttle to town, a $8 cab ride each way.
