I paid $900 pesos uruguayos per night for a single (about $41 US). The room was worth about $30 US per night. The hotel is about a mile walk from the Old City with the colonial ruins. I stayed in this nice budget hotel and really liked it. I had room 101 all the way in the back, and there was no street noise at all. They have roll down shutters that block out most of the light so you can sleep late. Plenty of hot water, and the room also had a mini-fridge. Cable TV with... more
