Nice hotel, bit expensive compared to the rest of town. The rooms are good, clean, well maintained - all the mod cons live TV and hot water. But the service is very unfriendly. We stayed there one night, they tried to insist that we pay up front. Later on they wouldn't give us our passports back so we could changea... more

Big rooms with very good beds, clean bathrooms. there is a very nice pool and inner yard. Good service, as almost everywhere in Vietnam. Breakfast is fine, but we had better in some other hotels. The hotel is not in the centre, - it is about 20 mins walk to the downtown, but you can easily rent a motorbike and... more

My boyfriend and I were scheduled to stay in this hotel for 3 nights. After the first night we left and went to a resort instead because this place was that bad. I understand that this hotel is meant to be middle of the range but I found it to be far from that. The rooms were basic which I... more

We were on a Vietnam tour and stayed in some wonderful hotels. Lotus was perhaps one of the best. I wish it had some facility to make tea/coffee in the room but nevertheless the breakfast made up. Unfortunately, we were there for only two nights, I plan to visit again and hoping it will be for a longer period. more

Stayed for 8 nights. When we booked they said they have tea and coffee making in rooms and also in room safe. When we arrived none of this and they didn't understand what we wanted. We showed them on the website but they still did not understand. They put us in a room in the centre of hotel and they... more

This looked like a fantastic hotel - pool, swanky rooms, free shuttle bus into Hoi An and to the beach but they have no idea how to treat their customers. They changed the shuttle bus service times half way through our stay but didn't tell anyone untilo they rolled up to catch the bus. They left some of our fellow... more

On the face of it this hotel is very good- we had adjoining rooms for $65 for a family BUT They turn off the air con all day and tell you it's a power cut................At first I beleived them but then I realised that they only turn on the air con in your room when you ring down after 5... more

Nice room, two balconies. On the way to the room a large tropical snake slithered across the outside deck, which was interesting. Hotel is quite a distance from the old part of downtown where all the clones go to wander around looking at the same tourist trap junk, and also quite a distance from the beach; neither are in walking... more

I'm curious about the name of the hotel in this listing as the sign out the front, their brochure and their business cards all call it "Lotus Hotel". The web address is the only place "Hoian lotus" appears. Booked through an agent in Saigon who may not have mentioned that the hotel is about 5km from the centre of old... more

A little bit far from the Hoian town but a great hotel with wonderful staff, could not fault anything. Comfortable lobby with free billard and free internet, rooms were nice as was the pool. I believe it's equal to a 5 star hotel in Australia. They offer a free shuttle service to and from town and the beach every hour.... more
