We stayed for three nights at the Chrismar during our recent African trip. We booked it through Orbitz, and weren't sure what to expect. However, it turned out to be one of favorite hotels on the trip, and exceeded our expectations. It is far cheaper than the other upscale hotels in Livingstone, because it is a 10 minute farther drive... more
During our stay there were only a few guests, except the Saturday evening when there was a function. (The hotel also caters for conferences.) If you like quietness, it could be advisable to check if there is a scheduled function and ask for a room further away from the entertainment area.
