Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had a great stay at the Ravine Lodge. My room was cleaned comfortable. It had good wifi, hot water, and AC. The grounds of the hotel were small, but the courtyard area was nice: green with areas both sunny and shaded, and places to sit. The staff at the Ravine Lodge were the best. So helpful and nice. I thought it was a great place. It is a bit father from the centre of town than other places but only about a 15 min walk.

Our stay at this lodge is clearly why our stay in Livingstone became such a great experience. The staff are so nice, helpful and competent and they went out of their way to make our experience extraordinary. The rooms were sufficient, the breakfast ordinary but good, daily cleaning of the rooms and the overall feel of the place were welcoming. I liked the secluded atmosphere in the "inner court" and for the price, we were absolutely thrilled. The location is just in the outskirts of Livingstone, away from most bars and loud music so despite being in the city, there was a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere, which made it possible to relax fully after a long day of sightseeing. If I ever get to Livingstone again I will absolutely stay at Ravine lodge again.

We have been staying at this lodge since 2013 and have never had a bad experience. Not only do they have a great location and service, they offer affordable prices. The new ownership has done a great job at keeping the charm and service we have come to expect. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and secure. The hosts were friendly and extremely helpful. Keith Mwiya and his team went above and beyond the requirements of their jobs in order to accommodate our needs.

Fantastic location and very convenient. Loved the restaurant in-front of the lodge. I have been staying frequently during my business visits and never disappointed. I also opted for the family room when I visited with my parents last year. Awesome Choice.

Lodge was located centrally in town an a short ride from Victoria Falls. Rooms are a good size and the staff make the stay worthwhile. The breakfast is average however I wasn't expecting much. Overall a good stay.

A good value for money accommodation situated on the main road going to Victoria falls in Livingstone. Rooms are decent and lodge gives you a feel of a village hut from outside, but rooms are okay. Also good indian restaurant is very nearby.

A very handy location and within a few minutes' walk of restaurants and bars in Livingstone. Shady thatched building and high ceilings in bedrooms make it a good place to stay when it's hot. Bedrooms are squeaky clean and adequate size beds but bed linen and mattresses could do with replacing as rather tired. It is, however, extremely well priced. Wi-Fi didn't work in the room but had to step outside to the lounge area. Friendly staff. A good option for travellers who are on a budget. Secure overnight parking for vehicles.

A good meal made excellent by top class service. Thanks for being a good host and waitress. When ordering mutton korma make sure to ask that the chef have a light hand on the salt. The steak and samosas were excellent. Can recommend this restaurant with pleasure.

This is a great comfortable place to stay. The rooms have great vaulted ceilings with a thatch roof. As has been mentioned before, the showers have great pressure, which is really nice after a long day. The location is great - just a short and safe walk to many restaurants. If you're looking for a quiet and clean place to kick your feet up, at good rates, this is the place. We have stayed here well over a dozen times and will continue to go back.
