Room was dingy, dusty and dirty. No bed bugs as some other people have experienced, luckily. Priceline rates this as a 2*, I think it would be lucky to get a 1* in my books. Yet Priceline vehemently claims that their reviews are more "stringent" than other websites. No maid service unless you are there 7 nights or more. We... more
Having read some review before my stay, I was not looking forward to it, however check-in went smoothly and the woman at the desk was very friendly. The carpeting in the room was in good shape and the kitchen area was ok. I was on the top (3rd) floor and found it quiet. Furnishings, including tube-TV are basic. My only... more
We had stayed at this hotel a few times and had put up with dirty dishes and sticky cutlery, but this last visit is definitely the last visit!!! When we checked in there was a sign at the front desk saying the water would be shut off at 11 am the next morning. Guess what? The tradesmen arrived at 10 am... more
We had booked last minute and wanted a night away for shopping. When we got to our room, it was dirty and smelled of smoke. After seeing so many "news" pieces about bed bugs I decided to check as a joke. There were bed bugs. We left immediately, called priceline and they refunded our money. Do not stay here unless... more
ExtendedStay America was very clean, comfortable and better than what I was expecting based on other reviews. There was kitechen inside with fridge, microwave, toaster, and other basic necessities. You can prepare your own meals there. The location is right in the middle of a shopping area. Niagara Falls and Casinos are only about a 20-minute drive from this hotel... more
When we arrived to check in we saw a sign on the check in desk that stated: Room freshen service, $3.00 per day. In otherwords there is no room service unless you pay $3.00 per day. We were never told this when we booked the room. At the cost of $109.00 per night, I think that is ridiculous to pay... more
We stayed at ESA over the weekend because we were in Buffalo to do a little shopping and didn't want to spend a lot on our hotel. ESA was in a great location. When we arrived, the front desk staff were friendly and helped us check in quickly. However, the hotel wasn't kept up very well. The carpet and tiles... more
I stayed here while I was attending a conference at the University of Buffalo. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the I290, shopping (wal-mart, boulevard mall, etc.) and the University. I was happy with the room, it was fairly big and open. The convenience of having a microwave and full size fridge was nice. The things... more
I stayed at this hotel for a month, after booking online at ExtendedStay America's website. I had business in downtown Buffalo, which is typically about 20 minutes away by car. Using the ESA website was easy and effective. They send you reminder e-mails regarding your reservation. Do note, however, that ESA does not have any sort of rewards/miles program affiliation... more
