Stayed for two nights in Sept 08 at this hotel. Made reservation directly on line. Hotel has CNN in English- something most hotels in Japan do not have. Our daughter, who is vegetarian, was dreading yet another meal comprising only tofu and aubergines, but her meal here was a varied, imaginative delight. Absolutely outstanding ryokan, and highly recommended. The staff were genuine and warm. Several little touches that made the whole experience wonderful. Dinner was an exotic treat.
