I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn in Mito. The staff is excellent and the rooms and price are fair value. However, the internet was devastatingly slow... especially at key times in the evening. Stayed at Holiday Inn for around 6 nights. Pleasant, if unspectacular hotel. Staff were invariably helpful, though there were language barriers. Rooms bigger than I expected and comfortable. This was our first trip to Japan and we ended up at this motel because we cashed in some “frequent stayer” points for a free stay. We went on short notice and loved the adventure of it.
